Max Payne 3 for the PS3 is stupendously fast-paced, highly complex and incredibly violent. Sounds like fun. Max Payne returns with the most sophisticated (it says here), stylised shooting action, and a gloomy and deeply conflicting tale following one of the most distinctive characters in videogames.
Taking place 12 years after the events of Max Payne 2, Max now finds himself in Sao Paulo, Brazil (not Sao Paulo, Yorkshire), where security work is in good supply but the risks are very high.
But betrayal and murder haunt his every step, and once again, Max is pushed into the middle of a brutal city with nothing but his instincts and his weapons in a desperate search for the truth and a way out.
